Water tower

The water tower, sometimes referred to as the Almshouse tower ("Špitalski stolp"), was a part of the mediaeval town walls.

One of four mural towers preserved to this day, it was built in the second half of the 15th century in the south-eastern corner of the town settlement. A plaque is integrated into the tower with a sign and an extended finger indicating the level of water during the flood in 1672.
