City marketplace

The city marketplace was architecturally updated in 2009 to become a modern and appealing center of urban happening.

It offers a varied choice of fresh fruit and vegetables, meat produce, dairy products, and homemade treats. An organic marketplace also comes to life on Saturdays. In 2001, the updated marketplace was ranked among the 39 best projects according to the criteria for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture (or the Mies van der Rohe Award).
