Celje town beach

The municipal beach is located along the Savinja riverwalk, in close vicinity of the Regional Museum's lapidarium.

It ingeniously connects the river and the green area next to it. During hot summers, the beach offers a cool shade, a space to socialize, and a place for children to play. It is also a popular venue for cultural and social events for a variety of audiences during the "Summer in Celje, the City of Counts" festival taking place from June to September.
