The Regional Martial Arts Centre is headquartered in the Zlatorog Hall.

Celje martial arts fighters have been among the international elite since 1976 which is not just the first year of their activity; it is also the start of a new success story of Celje's athletes. Development of martial arts in Slovenia started with the foundation of the Martial Arts Society Slavko Šlander Celje which has fostered the development of full-contact sports like taekwondo, aikido, kickboxing, and budokai for 38 years, paving the way to top results.

Members who have stood out in world and European competitions include brothers Anton and Jani Špiljak, Bojan Pušnik, Hasan Ibrić and others; after independence, Luka and Boštjan Andrej, Sebastjan Domadenik, Tamara and Tibor Ibrić, Vita Jeraj, and Primož Drevenšek are among the most successful athletes.
