Metropol coffee house

This coffee house - inseparable from the namesake cinema for the last half a century – has a true soul and relaxed ambiance. The character of both the cinema and the coffee house relies in part on the fact that they are located in an architectural gem designed by the prolific and renowned Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik.

It sits on one of the busiest streets in the very centre of the City of Counts, enlivened by the recent renovation. This coffee house's tradition has been an important part of the mosaic of the city's social life.

In order to offer a varied and lively verve while maintaining the unique character the distinctiveness of which we will seek to maintain, with the satisfaction of our customers in mind, in the future, we shall continue to hose jazz, ethno, and classical concerts and to provide a sophisticated service.
