Equestrian centre Celje

The Equestrian Centre Celje (Center konjeniškega športa Celje) is located a good 5-minute drive from the city centre, in an idyllic glade in the vicinity of the Lopata stop along the Ljubljana–Maribor motorway. It is reputed as the most modern centre of its kind in Slovenia. Forty-six horse boxes are available in the stable, as well as a riding hall, an outdoor riding arena, and a horse walking machine/exerciser. Riding school welcomes riders of all generations.

A number of events take place during the year at the centre, including the Jumping World Cup taking place in the indoor riding hall in November, and the Nations Cup held in May. Other events, such as horse shows, open-door day, and national jumping competitions are also held at the centre.

The centre also includes a restaurant and a café which are a popular venue for cultural, social, and culinary events that always draw a large crowd. The restaurant can also be hired by groups for birthdays and similar events.
