Celje summer open-air swimming pool

In the summer, water sports move from the Golovec indoor pool to the summer outdoor pool, a traditional summer gathering place for Celje residents for nearly 60 years.

It is located along the Savinja riverbanks near the centre of the town and it spans 2.3 hectares. The bathers can enjoy over 1,700 square meters of water area, including a 50-metre pool for swimmers and a new children's pool in the form of three colourful circles with modern playground equipment.

The lido also includes two beach volleyball courts and a basketball court that is sometimes used by street football players.
