Billet House Gallery

The Billet House Gallery is located in the first floor of the well-preserved renaissance building, a former billet house, at 3 Gosposka Street in Celje.

An exhibition area spanning good 100 square meters features top domestic and international painters, sculptors, photographers, and designers each month. The gallery is also an occasional venue for concerts, lectures, literary evenings, performances, and theatre plays.

A "Sofija Hess Tea Party" can be thrown for previously announced groups of visitors. This animation, enjoyed over pastry and seasonal beverages, honours the memory of Alfred Nobel's fateful love of Sofija Hess who resided in the premises of today's gallery in the second half of the 19th century.

The offer of the Billet House Gallery also includes a souvenir shop run by the Celje Tourist Society tourist info office.
